Western Digital is looking for Device R&D Student
* The candidate will be a part of the device lab team and will carry flash memory experiments
and support special studies/projects, including
• Analysis/scripting in C/Spotfire/Matlab/Python
• Automation of lab testing tools (NanoNT and CNE)
• Writing test scripts to emulate Flash operating sequences and algorithms
• Support Electrical Failure Analysis
• Support lab deliverables

Job Essentials and Requirements
Student at the 3 rd or 4th year of B.Sc., or best at the beginning of M.Sc. in Physics, Materials, or Electrical Engineering (Microelectronics - advantage)
Hands on, independent, good English
Strong background in programming / scripting - emphasis on Matlab, C and Python an advantage
Background in semiconductors, solid state device physics, Flash memory – advantage
Commitment for at least 2-3 workdays a week with flexibility to work more during university off time
